The fiction book I read was Love You Forever, writter by Robert Munsch. This book is about a mom who wants to make sure that her son knows that loves him. I really like this book because they show how far a mom will go to show her  love. They haven't published this book since 2004. I also enjoyed the fact that the story relates to people in real life.
